Quiet Strength
In this series of paintings, I was exploring the quiet strength that is a characteristic of many people, both women and men. These were early works in my silk painting series, pliable silk applied to an opaque substrate for strength. I used both process and the resulting paintings to address the concept of a quiet strength. This is my interpretation, I invite you to have your own.
